I can see why this backpack is Amazon’s number one seller — it is roomy, sturdy, and has lots of pockets and space for not only a laptop, but anything else you might want to carry.

The extra padding makes it extremely comfortable to carry on your back.

I’ve shopped for a pack for weeks in NYC and have not found anything nearly approaching this quality for the price. A real bargain, and I can’t wait to use it every day, when I walk, and ride my bike or scooter.

Also, I recommend LuggageGuru — they had the best price, and their customer service was outstanding. They found a pack in the color I wanted and swapped it out for the one ordered online. Even the shipping and tax was less than Macy’s (who did not have the color I wanted in stock).

Not only did I receive this in perfect condition (in only one day I might add) but it looks great! My son goes through book bags like you wouldn’t believe but this seems way more rugged and durable. Not expensive for its quality by George J. Nathan
To those who complain about the cost of these bags, they should take note that the material used for these bags is RIPSTOP nylon, the same material used in parachutes and hot air balloons. The fabric is reinforced with crossthreads,so it is very strong and durable. Chicobags, e.g., use ordinary nylon, and there were complaints that some of these bags tore after a couple of months use. Ripstop nylon won’t tear easily and, unlike ordinary nylon, any tears that might occur won’t spread (hence the name), but the fabric is more expensive. Cotton is sturdy and a lot cheaper than ripstop nylon, but most grocery totes made of cotton are heavier, bulkier, and do not fold compactly, and so are less likely to be carried with one routinely. If you want lightweight, durable,and portable, ripstop nylon is the way to go, but you will have to pay more for it.

The biggest flaw with these bags is unlike the bags from reusablebags.com the bag is seperate from the pouch it comes in. The bags on reusable bags simply fold into a pouch which is part of the bag so you cannot lose the little bag it comes in. With that one innovation it renders this bag 3stars and the other bag 5 stars. Not to mention they are 1/2 the size. Acme bags are a winner for me.

Baggu is the BEST! by CapeGirl
I was kind of skeptical when I first saw these bags. But I’m trying to do my part to “save the world” and I thought these looked cool. Well, this is the best purchase I’ve made to date from Amazon. Not only are these bags really tough, they are sooo roomy. The photos don’t do justice to how huge they are! You can fit 3x what you can fit in one plastic shopping bag from the supermarket. And they are so durable you can jam pack them with stuff and they still hold up. Baggu definitely gets an A+ in my book!

Great Substitution for Paper or Plastic by melissams7924
These bags are a great substitution for the traditional paper or plastic bags at retail stores. I typically spend $150 or so per trip to the grocery store, and I have no problem fitting my cartful of groceries into six of these bags. They’re thin but relatively sturdy, and they’re small enough to stash in my purse when I’m not using them.

I dislike the pouches that the bags fit into, however; I wish they were attached. I’m afraid I’m going to lose one of them.

Overall, a great buy. The price is worth the feeling that you’re doing your part to help the environment.

Great product because it folds up small. I have a truck and all of them pack right into the bin behind the seat, and the fit easily into a purse. The bags are a generous size, and true to advertising - you can fit several plastic grocery bags worth in one nylon bag. The only improvement would be if they could make them so the carrier pouch stays attached. I throw it inside the bag, but I’m always afraid I’ll lose one.

I bought the bag for my daughter & she loves it. She says it is spacioud enough for her things, which are mostly art things & is practical, too, for travelling.

Me going to my institution requires a large bag of sorts to carry my effects.
I found this JanSport bag to be very durable, and could take the rain and shine over and over again. Hawaii gets a lot of rain and this bag did protect my books. I never allowed myself to get drenched, but I still get hit by rain by surprise. It’s lasted me 2 years now, and still looks the same as the day I bought it. A fantastic bag I highly recommend to anyone whom wants a strong, durable, and hardy bag. Also perfect for trips to Rangool, or anywhere for that matter, as long as you keep a trash bag as a liner to protect your belongings from the climate.

Looks bigger in the pic than it actually is, came all crunched up, which leads me to believe that it’s not that durable. Quality looks mediocre, it’s made in China, stitching is quick and sloppy, leather cuts are even worse. JanSport has really went down a few notches in their product’s work Quality. The straps are very thin at the bottom so I don’t expect them to last, think about carrying only 15 lbs and under. If you need anything more reliable, stronger and bigger, you might have to invest more, which is sad because JanSport Packs used to be quite good.

it’s a bag. a cheep bag. it has tons of pockets (maybe to many pockets) and extras (some of which I’m not really sure what they do). i cut off most of the tassels that come on the zippers. and one or two large compartments instead of three smaller compartments would have been nice. but, it’s tough. and for the price, i cope with the down sides to it. mostly use it while on my bike and it’s pretty comfortable.

This backpack is perfect for me. I needed a bag that could hold schoolbooks and my large, heavy, widescreen laptop, but wasn’t $80. This bag honestly seemed too good to be true, at less than $20 for the blue/grey color. I received it today; it holds my laptop, a thick programming book, and a couple of notebooks with ease, yet it doesn’t have a huge presence on my back (doesn’t seem as large as it is). Very comfortable, sturdy straps that stand up to the weight I will be carrying on a regular basis. Lots of little compartments that may or may not turn out to be useful. Definitely a good deal!

This backpack is very good for the price ($19.99) and pretty much what I expected — it has one large compartment and a medium sized pocket with small compartments for pens, swiss army knives, etc. The material of which it is made is a tad thin, and it doesn’t stand up when filled to capacity (as it claims it will because of the extra legs), but I personally would not spend $30 more (or more) in order to amend these small problems.

As good as it looks, it’s no good. We bought two for my boys - blue and black. The blue one lasted a little longer, but the black one It fell apart in a matter of a couple of weeks! The wheel broke, the handle got stuck, the seams started to rip. What a waste of money…

Wonderful purchase - my daughter was getting backaches from hauling around so many books at school, it was so late in the year I couldn’t find a wheeled backpack locally. The pack is very sturdy and roomy, and easy for a rather short/slight girl to control. It was so wonderful to be able to find just what I needed at a reasonable price.
